Updated October 28, 2026. Best 3D Printer Under 500 publishes this site. Send a data question through our contact form.

Calculator inputs

The print-cost worksheet calculates in your browser and keeps your entries in that browser's local storage on this device. Reset inputs replaces the saved job; clearing site data in your browser removes it. Its Save assumptions button downloads a copy to your device. It does not upload the job name or inputs. Check a saved copy before sharing it with someone else.

Messages

The contact form sends the name, email address, subject and message you enter to this site. We queue the message and deliver it to the publisher’s mailbox to handle your request. The form also uses your IP address and a short-lived form token to limit spam. Ask us about a message you want removed; do not include new sensitive details in that request.

Site requests and measurement

Serving a page sends normal request information, such as an IP address and browser details, to the hosting service. The site includes controls for optional analytics where configured. Hosting-side records are separate from the local worksheet. This edition has no mailing-list signup or account system.

Your choices

You can use the cost worksheet without entering a name. You control saved copies of your worksheet on your device. Use the site's privacy controls for optional measurement when offered. Contact us to ask what information we hold in connection with your contact message.

Our product reviews and shortlists contain Amazon affiliate links. Following one opens Amazon, which receives your request and the referral information in the link. Amazon and manufacturer websites have their own data practices. This policy covers this site's functions. We will revise it when a data function changes.
